Seven ages of man.

I have wanted to do this piece for at least ten years now - at least since I was at university. It was one of those simple ideas that proved difficult to achieve in practice!

I did attempt on a few occasions to use myself as the model and do the work using Spectra / Image System Polaroid film. Getting an erection was not the problem, it was recording the seven distinct stages, and photographing these from the same distance and angle - that was problematic.

The work is now available as a pdf download for print and exhibition purposes.

When I was at UWCN one Ian Walker's lectures concerned humour and photography: perhaps this is where the work derives.
